With an incredible $3.3m in prize money up for grabs, this year’s event promises to be even more exciting than ever before.
The highlight of the carnival is the prestigious Brisbane Cup, which boasts a staggering $1m in total prize money for the first time. Featuring premium racing opportunities for young sprinters, middle distance runners, and staying superstars, including the beloved Origin Greyhound Series, this event is not to be missed. A special QGOLD feature meeting will also celebrate the best of Queensland-bred greyhounds with a $300,000 prize.
To be eligible for the Brisbane Cup, greyhounds must have raced at Albion Park over a distance of 520m or further. View Brisbane Cup conditions here. Additionally, Racing Queensland has included two Brisbane Cup consolations with a total of $160,000 in prize money, which is a thrilling new addition to the event.
