2023 Cup Night

2023 Cup Night will be the ultimate event experience for racing fans, capturing the best greyhounds from across the country along with first-class entertainment.

On Friday July 7, the first ever $1 million race event will be staged with the running of the SKY Racing Brisbane Cup over 520 metres.

To complement, the TAB Queensland Cup over 710 metres will also carry record prizemoney in Queensland, with $262,500 on the line for the best stayers in the country.

Feature Event Entertainment:

The iconic Australian pop rock band, Boom Crash Opera, will headline 2023 Cup Night entertainment.

The Melbourne-based band are currently touring Australia and are set to play all their classic hits live trackside with two feature sets prior to the SKY Racing Brisbane Cup and after the last race event.

Schedule of Events:

• 5:00pm – Doors Open
• 6:11pm – First Race
• 7:46pm – Group 1 TAB Queensland Cup Final
• 8:13pm – Boom Crash Opera Feature Set 1
• 8:43pm – Group 1 SKY Racing Brisbane Cup Final
• 9:59pm – Last Race
• 10:15pm – Boom Crash Opera Feature Set 2

Grandstand Premium Ticketing:

• $30 per person
• Access to grandstand area (seated or standing) with perfect view of race track and event entertainment
• Access to all areas for food and beverage purchases
• Persons with a ticket will be scanned in at the access point to the grandstand and will receive a wrist band
• Tickets can be purchased from Wednesday 7 June at 12 noon at the link below.

Trackside Lawn:

• Free entry and no bookings required
• Access to food stall and bar on trackside lawn
• Big Screen TV

Pacers & Chasers Bistro:

• Open for VIP event function, members and grandstand premium ticket holders
• Closed to the general public

Licensed Participant Access:

• Licensed participants with a greyhound engaged at the race meeting will be provided with a total of 4 passes to access the Grandstand Premium area via allocation of wrist bands at kennelling time
• Access to all areas for food and beverage purchases

Note: Participants engaged in either Group 1 event will be invited to the finalist function in the Trackside Marquee

Event Parking:

Members and guests driving to the Albion Park Raceway will have ample access to free parking on Brisbane Cup night

Upon arrival (via main entrance on Yulestar St), guests will be directed to the secure parking area to the right of the main grandstand for parking
