Club Notice – End of Brisbane Lockdown 8 August 2021

Following the announcement from the Queensland Government ending the lockdown in Brisbane at 4:00pm today, the Brisbane Greyhound Racing Club (BGRC) advises patrons will be permitted to return to the Club at this time.

Please be advised food and beverage service and indoor seated dining will reopen at 4:00pm today whilst tote services will reopen from Monday 9 August 2021.

The BGRC further advises the following restrictions will be in place at the Club until 4:00pm Sunday 22 August 2021.

  1. Health Checks and Personal Protective Equipment
  • Essential Racing Personnel – will be required to undertake a temperature test at each race meeting and will required to wear a face mask at all times, except when seated for eating and drinking.
  • Patrons – required to wear a face mask at all times, except when seated for eating or drinking.
  1. Food and Beverage Service – Indoors
  • One person per 4 square metres.
  • Seated eating and drinking at all times.
  • Cash payments for all services will be accepted.
  1. Food and Beverage Service – Outdoors
  • One person per 2 square metres.
  • Seated eating and drinking at all times.
  • Cash payments for all services will be accepted.
  1. Core Racing Areas
  • Core Racing Areas remain restricted to Essential Racing Personnel only
  • Owners, members and patrons are requested to adhere to signage outlining Core Racing Areas at the Club at all times.
