BGRC Stakeholder Information Update 23 March 2020 – Coronavirus (COVID-19)

The Brisbane Greyhound Racing Club (BGRC) wishes to advise stakeholders of several changes to Club operations to mitigate the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19).

The following changes will take effect immediately until further notice:

  1. Closure of Food and Beverage Operations – Pacers & Chasers

The Club advises no food or beverage items will be provided for sale to essential stakeholders on-course and the Club requests all parties required for continuation of racing to make individual arrangements until further notice.

  1. Payment of Public Trials

The Club advises payment for all public trials can only be made via debit/credit card until further notice. No cash payments will be taken.

       3.  Removal of Communal Items in Kennelling Area

The Club advises no communal items, e.g. sorbolene cream, vaseline, will be provided for use until further notice. Trainers/handlers are advised to provide their own items for racing with approval from QRIC stewards.

The BGRC will continue to communicate with all stakeholders and provide relevant updates on Club operations as necessary and we thank you for your cooperation.
