BGRC Information Notice – End of Brisbane Lockdown 3 July 2021

Following the announcement from the Queensland Government ending the lockdown in Brisbane at 6:00pm today, the Brisbane Greyhound Racing Club (BGRC) advises patrons will be permitted to return to the Club commencing from Sunday 4 July 2021.

The BGRC further advises the following restrictions will be in place from Sunday 4 July 2021 until further notice.

  1. Health Checks and Personal Protective Equipment
  • Essential Racing Personnel – will be required to undertake a temperature test at each race meeting and will required to wear a face mask at all times.
  • Patrons – required to wear a face mask at all times, except when eating or drinking.
  1. Food and Beverage Service – Indoors
  • One person per 4 square metres.
  • Seated eating and drinking at all times.
  • Cash payments for all services will be accepted.
  1. Food and Beverage Service – Outdoors
  • One person per 2 square metres.
  • Seated eating and drinking at all times.
  • Cash payments for all services will be accepted.
  1. Tote Services
  • Will recommence from Sunday 4 July 2021.
  1. 2021 SKY Racing Brisbane Cup & TAB Queensland Cup Night 8 July
  • Event will be presented as advertised including all entertainment.
  • Due to capacity restrictions indoors, entry into the Pacers & Chaser Bistro area will be limited.
  • The Club is pleased to offer food, beverage, and wagering facilities at the new TAB Greenhouse on the trackside lawn area for patrons to enjoy. This area will be also fully furnished with gas heaters.
  • Grandstand seating will also be available.
